Ensure hair is about 6 mm (1/4 inch) long, clean and free of lotions. Avoid sun exposure, self-tanners and retinoids 48–72 hours before. Exfoliate gently a few days prior and arrive relaxed for a smoother treatment.

Yes — sensitive skin can be waxed with precautions: a pre-wax consultation and patch test identify reactions. We use gentler waxes and calming aftercare to reduce irritation. Certain medications or conditions may require extra care or clearance.

Ideally hair should be around 6 mm (1/4 inch) so the wax can grip efficiently. If hair is too short waxing won’t work; if too long, we’ll trim it for comfort. Proper length ensures a clean, effective result.

Contraindications include recent Accutane use, active sunburn, skin infections, open wounds, or recent chemical peels. Pregnancy is generally fine, but disclose medications and health issues during booking so we can assess safety and recommend alternatives if needed.
