Ideally hair should be 3–7 mm (about 2–3 weeks’ growth) for optimal adhesion. Too short hair may not grip properly and too long hair can increase discomfort. We can trim excess length beforehand if needed.

Our Italwax line is formulated for gentle removal and most clients experience brief discomfort rather than intense pain. We use calming techniques and can apply pre-wax soothing products. Always tell your therapist about sensitivity for tailored care.

Come with clean, dry skin and avoid heavy creams on the day. Gentle exfoliation 48–72 hours before helps prevent ingrown hairs, but avoid exfoliating immediately before waxing. Avoid alcohol and blood-thinning medications if possible.

Results typically last 3–6 weeks depending on individual hair growth cycles and maintenance. Regular waxing often slows regrowth and makes hair finer. We can recommend a schedule for best long-term smoothness.

Do not wax over sunburned or recently irritated skin. If you’ve had a spray tan or self-tanner, inform us so we can assess compatibility. Wait until the skin is healed and not freshly tanned for safe waxing.

Avoid hot baths, saunas, and tight clothing for 24–48 hours. Apply recommended soothing products, exfoliate gently after 48–72 hours to prevent ingrowns, and avoid sun exposure. Contact us if excessive redness or irritation persists.
