Get answers to common questions about Glycolic peel 30%.
Our technician will cleanse and prep your skin, apply the 30% glycolic solution for a controlled time, optionally neutralize, then soothe with a calming mask and moisturizer. Treatment ends with SPF. Total time about 45–60 minutes with mild tingling possible.
We recommend a consultation and patch test first. Those with very sensitive or rosacea-prone skin may need a lower concentration or alternative treatment. If active inflammation, open sores, or eczema exist, we'll advise against the peel until skin stabilizes.
Most clients see noticeable improvement after a series of 3–6 peels spaced two to four weeks apart, depending on skin type and concerns. Maintenance treatments every three months help sustain results. Your therapist will create a personalized plan during consultation.
Expect mild redness and possible light flaking beginning 48–72 hours after treatment, with peeling lasting up to one week. Most clients experience minimal social downtime. Protect skin with SPF, avoid exfoliants and direct sun while healing to prevent irritation and pigmentation.
Yes. Avoid retinoids, strong exfoliants, recent waxing, and excessive sun exposure for at least one week prior. Disclose topical prescriptions and isotretinoin history; clients who used isotretinoin recently may need to wait. We'll do a skin assessment and patch test as needed.
Use a gentle cleanser and hydrating moisturizer, apply broad-spectrum SPF daily, and avoid retinoids, other acids, and abrasive scrubs for at least one week. Keep skin hydrated, don't pick peeling areas, and contact us if you experience prolonged redness or unusual discomfort.
