A targeted professional session: medical-grade M.A.D Skincare deep cleanse, chemical and physical exfoliation, gentle manual extractions, a customized treatment mask, and calming serums. Sessions last about 45–60 minutes and focus exclusively on clearing and balancing the back.

Most skin types tolerate Back Detox well with a pre-treatment consultation and patch test. We adjust exfoliants and extraction intensity for sensitive skin; avoid treatment if you have active infections, open wounds, or recent strong chemical peels.

Many clients notice improvement after one visit, but 2–4 sessions spaced four weeks apart often deliver lasting results for persistent bacne or texture issues. Your esthetician will recommend a personalized plan based on severity and response.

Discomfort is usually mild — pressure, tingling, or brief sensitivity during extractions or exfoliation. We prioritize gentle technique and soothing products; numbing is rarely needed. Expect temporary redness that subsides within hours to a few days.

Avoid heavy sweating, hot tubs, and sun exposure for 24–48 hours. Cleanse with gentle, non-comedogenic products, apply recommended M.A.D Skincare serums and hydrators, and wear breathable clothing. Follow homecare instructions to prevent recurrence and maintain smooth results.

Back Detox improves texture and can lighten post-inflammatory discoloration over time, but deep acne scarring or persistent hyperpigmentation may need combined treatments (peels, microneedling, laser). Consistent aftercare and sun protection are essential for optimal fading.
